DHL Industrial Projects has transported more than 1,000 tons (907.2 tonnes) of transformers from China to Dubai, the UAE.
The transformers were delivered to the customer’s project site, where they will be used to safely adapt power voltages and transfer energy from one electric circuit to another.
DHL used tracking visibility tools to predict the estimated time of arrival, accurate to a couple of minutes. This helped to plan offloading operations easily, DHL said.
