The cargoes, some measuring more than 5.4 m wide, were transported approximately 500 km, including along winding mountain roads of the Prahova Valley. The pieces were assembled into the third TBM working on building one of the tunnels for the modernisation project.

According to Eastship, the modernisation of the railway line between Sighișoara and Brașov also includes the rehabilitation of three stations (Racoș, Mateiaș, and Ormeniș), the construction of two overpasses and seven bridges, the installation of 10 culverts, and the erection of three viaducts, offering elevated passages for trains.

The TBM is one of four units that will construct two tunnels, measuring 7 km and 5 km each, for the project.
