A 1,200-tonne and 60 m-high jacket has arrived at France’s port of Cherbourg.
It was towed into the port on a barge named Stralsund, which measured 90 m long and 32 m wide. The jacket will be stored at Quai des Mielles for about one month for inspections and checks before being transported and installed at the Fécamp offshore wind farm.
