Kita Logistics has transported around 6,000 freight tons of construction machinery and equipment from various jobsites in Turkey to Moldova.

The project involved over 100 truckloads of cargo, many of which were out-of-gauge (OOG) units, said Kita Logistics.

The company’s ceo, Emre Eldener, explained: “We have altogether moved a set of construction machinery as well as mobile housing units for the jobsite workers. In this project, we have also utilised our new digitised information system for daily automatic updates to the status of trailers in transit including Customs clearance stages.” This, added Eldener, meant the information flow was continuous and led to an efficient working procedure.

The digitised information system will also be deployed on projects under way in Pakistan, Kuwait, Morocco, Iraq and Oman.
