Orchid Shipping has delivered a 49-ton (44.5-tonne) diesel generator from the south of India to Malaysia.
The cargo measured 14 m x 4.7m x 4.7 m. It was loaded as breakbulk at Kamarajar port and was delivered to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.
Orchid Shipping secured all necessary permissions for transport to the port. It also organised Customs clearance and the procurement of flatracks for the shipment. It noted that system downtime at Customs nearly delayed the shipment.
