Total Movements delivered two HDT reactors from the country’s western coast to a site in Bihar, covering 5,000 km on road, river and sea.

The cargoes weighed 360 tonnes each and measured 32 m in length. This complex move was fraught with many challenges, said Total Movements, including timely deployment of heavy lift barges and a heavy lift vessel. The company also planned and performed double banking operations at both Mumbai and Kolkata ports, barge transport along the Ganges River, as well as jetty and approach road construction.

“Right from the planning of this critical movement to its execution, our team worked closely with all the stakeholders involved to ensure the safe and timely delivery of this cargo. Our entire team felt truly motivated to get generous words of appreciation from our customers for our performance,” said a spokesperson for the company.

Total Movements is member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
