United Heavy Lift (UHL) has delivered two B65 dredgers from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to Balikpapan on the island of Borneo. Each item weighed approximately 378 tonnes.
UHL worked alongside Multi Marine Chartering & Agencies and Royal IHC on the project, with the latter inviting all relevant parties for a pre-loadout meeting and inspections at its shipyard in Rotterdam.
Following the alignment and execution of technical documentation and safety procedures for the shipment, the 36-day voyage from Rotterdam to Balikpapan was completed safely and on time aboard UHL’s vessel, UHL Fighter.
In September, HLPFI reported that Lars Bonnesen is stepping away from UHL, selling his shares to the United Shipping Group and leaving his role as managing director of the shipping firm at the end of the year.
