Faymonville reveals single-drop trailer

Faymonville has launched the MultiMAX 3+3 single-drop trailer.

MultiMAX is the newest addition to the manufacturer’s North American range. With its strong chassis and total deck length of up to 77 ft (23.47 m), it is capable of handling a variety of heavy lift cargoes such as industrial components, wind energy equipment, crane components or oversize containers.

Measuring 53 ft (16.15 m) long and 100 inches (2.54 m) wide when closed, Faymonville said the unit can be mobilised quickly, without any escorts or permits.

For additional load support over the extended stretch beams, the trailer comes with several extra bunk sections.

Faymonville said: “The hydraulic lifting and lowering of the neck allows optimal ground clearance even on uneven terrain or when passing railway crossings and other obstacles.”

In addition, the counter-steering rear bogie helps MultiMAX to manoeuvre around tight corners and jobsites.
