March 1 - Alistair Group has transported oversize steel frames from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Lusaka, Zambia, for use in the construction of a 1 million tonne per year cement plant.
In total, 79 trucks were used to transport the cargoes over the course of seven days. The trucks were dispatched in convoys of ten with two escort vehicles. The cargo was pre-cleared to eliminate delays and an offloading supervisor was stationed at the client's premises.
