The multipurpose, heavy lift vessel Asian Spirit has delivered 39 wind turbine blades to Duluth Seaway Port Authority’s Clure Public Marine Terminal on Lake Superior in the USA.
The vessel’s arrival tied up a project that involved six voyages, delivering more than 100,000 freight tons of wind energy cargo during 2025. The 39 wind turbine blades are destined for North Dakota, where they will repower previously installed turbines.
In May 2025, HLPFI reported that Kevin Beardsley would be succeeding Deb DeLuca as executive director of Duluth Seaway Port Authority.
