Multipurpose shipping line BBC Chartering has added the 40,000 dwt handysize bulker BBC Neptune to its fleet.

Sister vessel to BBC Apollo and BBC Ceres, BBC Neptune measures 179.9 m long and is equipped with four cranes.

The ship was built by Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering in Jiangmen, Guangdong, China, and is owned and managed by Briesse Schiffahrts.

BBC Neptune will soon join BBC’s dry bulk division, which is currently comprised of a fleet of 10 handysize bulkers. BBC Pluto will become the fourth vessel of this latest series when it joins the company’s fleet later this year.

Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that BBC Sao Paulo had passed its sea trials.
