August 6 - New Jersey, USA headquartered Ports America has named Paul Birnbaum as vice president sales and marketing of Ports America Stevedoring.
Birnbaum will report to Ports America Stevedoring president Tom Perdue; he will be responsible for driving corporate revenues and growth, price structuring and yield management processes.
"Ports America is pleased to welcome Paul with his strong operations background and customer experience," Perdue said. "He will advance Ports America Stevedoring growth and the quality of our customers' experience."
Prior to joining Ports America, Birnbaum led the strategic accounts team at third party logistics services provider, Yusen Logistics.
