Ocean Winds has awarded DEME Offshore the foundation installation contract for the Moray West offshore wind farm in Scotland.
DEME’s scope will include the installation of monopile foundations and transition pieces using its vessels Orion and Apollo.
Work is expected to be carried out in 2023-2024. According to DEME, the project will be the first time oversized monopiles will be installed during the winter period.
