Hareket’s custom-designed barges are suitable for heavy transport and installation work.

The 11,000 dwt custom-designed barges are designed for heavy transport and installation operations. The 330-class barges enhance the company’s operational capabilities in offshore environments and strengthens its role as a global solutions partner, enabling it to provide integrated services for offshore projects, said Hareket

The barges will be delivered in September.

The crane agreement, meanwhile, includes 36 crawler cranes and 52 mobile cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 50-2,200 tonnes. Hareket said that the cranes will be put to work in oil and gas, energy, renewable energy and construction projects primarily in the Middle East as well as in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Already this year, Hareket has showcased the variety of projects and capabilities it has in its locker, delivering transformers in the UAE, transporting wind farm components in temperatures as low as -25°C and at altitudes as high as 2,400 m, and transferring a 1,400-tonne yacht from a floating deck to its final location at a shipyard.
