February 6 - Terminal operator Portus has helped move a Bell 222 twin-engine light helicopter destined for South Africa across Jaxport's heavy lift and oversized cargo berth at Blount Island Marine Terminal.
The helicopter was prepared for shipment in Apopka, Florida, before being trucked to Jaxport, which the port says was the nearest gateway offering direct service to South Africa's Port of Durban.
