A coalition of shipping associations has issued an updated Maritime Industry Security Threat Overview (MISTO), reflecting the latest developments across the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Northwest Indian Ocean.
The update draws on insights from BIMCO, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), INTERCARGO, InterManager, the International Group of P&I Clubs, INTERTANKO and OCIMF, providing operators with a consolidated view of current threat dynamics in the region.
MISTO should be read alongside the Best Management Practices for Maritime Security (BMP-MS) and other applicable guidance. All documents are available via the joint industry portal.
