September 17 - Heidelberg based Karl Scholl GmbH has taken delivery of a new 300-tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane.

The LTM 1300-6.2 provides higher load capacities than its predecessor and its 78 m telescopic boom means an additional 6 m in length over the 250-tonne capacity model.

Angelika Scholl, managing director of Karl Scholl and Karl-Heinz Scholl, driver of the new Liebherr crane said it fits perfectly into the company's fleet from a logistical standpoint.

"The LTM 1300-6.2 can be used quickly and flexibly. Its long telescopic boom and luffing jib make it ideal for use in the chemicals industry. That enables us to build on the success of the LTM 1250-6.1 and provide our customers with an even more powerful crane," they said.

Karl Scholl specialises in providing crane and heavy forwarding services, and has a fleet of 16 mobile cranes with load capacities ranging from 30 to 300 tonnes. The new Liebherr crane is now the largest crane in its fleet.
