January 23 - Liburnia Maritime Agency has loaded seven tanker barges onto the Dockwise Tern at Rijeka port.
The Opatija-based company claims that this was the first time a load onto a semisubmersible ship has been seen in Croatia.
"When you have such projects the most important is the preparation and the fact that everybody involved has a clear picture of responsibilities and his scope," said Marin Skufca, project manager at Liburnia.
All of the barges were connected together prior to the arrival of the Dockwise Tern, before being loaded.
Liburnia is currently preparing for a similar loading operation onto another Dockwise ship, Teal.
