December 10 - Lufthansa and United Airlines plan to increase their cargo cooperation on routes between the USA and Europe.

As part of the planned cooperation, Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo are discussing a variety of possible elements to create a seamless network for the shipping industry, including an alignment of information technology services and warehouse facilities.

The two parties claim that the intended partnership will create a more efficient and comprehensive transatlantic cargo network and increase the choices and benefits available to cargo customers.

Implementation of this cargo cooperation is subject to finalisation of the commercial arrangement and compliance with existing EU and US regulations, as well as necessary government approvals.
