More than 185 ceos and senior managers from over 60 countries participated in the summit, starting with a welcome drink at the Sky Aquarium infinity pool overlooking the Gulf of Thailand before two days of one-to-one meetings.

The summit also saw the winners of its annual awards announced. This year, Eastship (Romania) was named international member of the year; Wilhelmsen Ships Service (UAE) took home the regional award for Middle East & Africa; Thunderbolt Global Logistics (USA) won the regional award for the Americas; Sadliers Global Logistics (Australia) won the regional award for APAC; and BATI Shipping & Trading (Türkiye) won the regional award for Europe. Irina Velikova at STM Group took home the trophy for member contact of the year.

According to PCN, it is now the largest network with a global coverage of over 365 companies in more than 125 countries. In the past two years, the network has grown 39 percent, with 155 new members. That growth has been driven across the globe with an impressive rise in Africa and Latin America in particular.

The 13th annual summit will be held next year from October 6-8 at the Azia Resort & Spa in Paphos, Cyprus. Ahead of the in-person event, PCN will hold virtual meetings from March 4-8.
