July 11 - Mammoet has relocated a 1,200-tonne concrete defence bunker using 88 axle lines of Scheuerle self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT).

Near the Dutch town of Vreeswijk, Mammoet utilised a gantry, positioned on the Scheuerle SPMTs, to disconnect the concrete bunker from its foundations and detach it from the anchorage.

The bunker, which, according to the TII Group, was originally constructed before the Second World War as part of a series of defence structures, was then transported 100 m and repositioned onto its new foundations.

A total of three bunkers are to be moved, as well as two water management structures, to allow a shipping lane to be widened.
