September 14 - P&I specialist The Shipowners' Club has entered into a strategic partnership with Sweden headquartered marine underwriting agency, Svensk Assurans.
The partnership will see Svensk Assurans - which currently specialises in limited hull Total Loss Only (TLO), war and mortgages interests - offer a new P&I product through a delegated underwriting agreement with The Shipowners' Club.
Simon Swallow, chief executive of The Shipowners' Club, said: "This strategic partnership offers a new and exciting opportunity for the Club to expand our presence in Scandinavia."
The Shipowners' Club traditionally focuses on P&I coverage for the small and specialist vessel sector.
