Ainscough Crane Hire promotes from within

July 21 - Ainscough Crane Hire, one of the UK's largest crane hire operators has announced recent changes within its senior team.

John Lowton, previously Group SHE-Q manager for the firm is promoted to director, SHE-Q. John replaces Bryan Cronie who leaves the business to take up a new role overseas.

Jim Fleming, previously manager of Ainscough Crane Hire's Preston depot is promoted to Heavy Cranes Depot manager. Jim is replaced by Georgina White who takes on the role of Preston Depot manager.

Peter Kernohan, operations director, is to extend his remit to include Heavy Cranes Operations, as Steve Hitchen, formerly Heavy Cranes operations director, leaves the business to pursue other interests.

In the last two months Ainscough Crane Hire which has 30 depots across the UK, has announced the purchase of 20 new Leibherr LTM 1150-6.1 mobile cranes and six heavy lift crawler cranes, representing a significant investment in new crane equipment.
