March 31 - Chapman Freeborn's UK head of VIP charter, Julie Black, has been elected to join the Council of the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA).

The appointment took place following a recent meeting of the BACA Council at the Baltic Exchange in London.

Beginning her career at London City Airport, Black has since held roles at Biggin Hill Airport and joined Chapman Freeborn in 2003, taking responsibility for the UK VIP charter team in 2011.

"The unique air charter industry has never been so vibrant and challenges abound for all sectors," said Black. "I hope my background from different aviation disciplines and a viewpoint from the perspective of working for a global air charter company such as Chapman Freeborn will stand me in good stead to represent BACA, its members and associates and the air charter industry as a whole.

Julie Black.
