Blue Water and DONG cooperate

July 14 - DONG Energy has entered into an agreement with Blue Water Shipping to expand the two companies' existing lease agreement in the Port of Esbjerg.

Blue Water will invest around DKK55 million (USD10.05 million) in the renovation and rebuilding to meet DONG Energy's requirements for additional office facilities, storage building, parking lots and surrounding areas.

"With the construction in the Hejre Field, we are in the process of the largest investment in the Danish sector of the North Sea for the past 25-30 years," said Dann Lockdahl, DONG Energy offshore base manager.

First phase of the large construction project has already begun and the last phase will be completed in the autumn of 2015.
