Gloves come off in Dockwise-Fairstar takeover saga

May 14 - Last Friday saw Fairstar Heavy Transport release copies of the most recent correspondence between itself and Dockwise in preparation for the former's AGM.

Fairstar CEO, Philip Adkins, is not mincing his words in response to the letter that Fairstar Heavy Transport received from Dockwise on May 9, 2012.

The tone of Adkins letter in which he suggests that the 46 percent of shareholders are unlikely to accept the Dockwise offer price; and that the latter has been employing bullying tactics, indicates that this is far from a 'done-deal'.
