Joumblat in at Long Beach

July 20 - Sam Joumblat has been appointed as managing director of finance and administration at the Port of Long Beach, effective August 7.

Joumblat, who previously served as chief financial officer at the port from 2006 to 2014, will be responsible for the annual budget of USD750 million and the USD4 billion, ten-year capital improvement programme.

The finance and administration bureau comprises the port's finance, information management, real estate and risk management divisions.
