New Empros service sets off

June 30 - Empros Lines has launched a new monthly breakbulk liner service from Antwerp to the Middle East Gulf.

The first vessel of the service - SCL Basilisk - arrived in Antwerp this week, where Empros Lines is represented by Naxco Group affiliate De Keyser Thornton (DKT).

The service will load in Antwerp and other German ports on an inducement basis, before calling at the main discharge ports of Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Doha, Dammam, Kuwait and Umm Qasr.

 

 

HLPFI reported on June 26 that Fleet Line Shipping had been appointed agent for Empros Lines in the Middle East.
