New Orleans hosts professional development for project forwarders

June 27 - Project forwarders seeking to continue their professional development can undertake a two-day course in New Orleans during the week of the Breakbulk Americas Transportation Conference & Exhibition, October 24-27, 2011.

The Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management short course is ISO-accredited and has been designed to appeal to project forwarders seeking to fast track skills and knowledge, or to refresh their approach on how to achieve success.

To support industry training, group discounts are offered for two or more employees attending the course from the same company. The investment in professional development is USD1500 for individual students; USD1250 for 2 - 3 students, and USD1000 for four and over.

A 25 percent discount is available for all bookings for the course at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on October 24-25 along with a Breakbulk Exhibitor Hall Day Pass valid all day Thursday, Oct. 27. Early bird discounts close 15 September, 2011.

Project cargo management specialist Kevin Stephens and professional communication consultant and lecturerRodger Hall have customised the training modules to ensure the heavy lift freight forwarding sector is better qualified to tackle the demands of increasingly complex, multimodal projects.
