PD Ports eyes industry awards

July 24 - The UK's PD Ports Group has been shortlisted for a brace of industry awards.

The ports and logistics company was shortlisted by container publication Containerisation International for its Terminal Operator of the Year, Port Authority of the Year and Investment in People awards.

It is also in the running for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport's Development of People prize.

"To be shortlisted for these prestigious awards is a real honour," said David Robinson , chief executive of PD Ports Group, pictured.

"We have heavily invested in developing our services at our Teesport facility so it's great that our efforts are being recognised."

The company has invested more than £4million in training, development and recruitment programmes in recent years.
