Broekman buys TWO Chemical

July 17 - Netherlands headquartered Broekman Group has acquired TWO Chemical Logistics from Emons Group.

The workforce at the TWO Chemical Logistics sites in Nijmegen and Maastricht, the Netherlands will form part of Broekman Group.

TWO Chemical Logistics specialises in providing logistics solutions for those operating in the chemical industry and "this acquisition is good news for all parties involved", said Jacques Kleinkramer, managing director of the Broekman Logistics division. "It will benefit our customers first of all, since we will be able to provide them with even better services from now on, based on TWO's more than 160 years of experience and hundreds of satisfied customers. However, this is also a positive development for employees and parent companies."

Earlier this month HLPFI reported that Broekman Group successfully acquired another Dutch logistics concern, Amsterdam based 3PL Triple Logistics. (http://tinyurl.com/nykzk5p)

"With two acquisitions within a short space of time, we are really expanding our logistics business in the Netherlands," said Broekman Group ceo Raymond Riemen.
