Rickmers awarded Sinotrans contract

Rickmers-Line has signed a six-year contract with the project logistics division of Sinotrans for the ocean transportation of breakbulk and project cargoes, as part of a major infrastructure project.

The contract covers the transport of cargoes from China to various destinations in the USA, using Rickmers-Line’s Round-The-World Pearl String fortnightly service.

“This is the first time, Rickmers-Line is entering into such a long-termcommitment with a big forwarding company in China. We are very happy and excited to commence this cooperation with Sinotrans, and are very delighted about the opportunity and trust the whole team of Sinotrans is putting in us,” said Rickmers-Line.

The contract was signed at the Sinotrans office in Beijing.
