Zeaborn to take full control of Zeamarine

The Zeaborn Group has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining shares in Zeamarine – the joint venture with Intermarine that was established in May 2018.


If approved by the antitrust authorities, the most recent transaction will see Zeaborn take full ownership of the company.

Furthermore, Andre Grikitis, ceo of Zeamarine, has decided to step down from the company in order to pursue other business ventures.

Ove Meyer, managing partner of Zeaborn, will lead Zeamarine in his capacity as owners’ representative and will work with the existing management team, which includes Dominik Stehle (cco), Nicki Schumacher (coo) and Michael Dumas (cfo).

Zeamarine is the combined commercial activities of Intermarine, Zeaborn Chartering and Rickmers-Line.
