September 12 - AIT Worldwide Logistics has expanded its American network into Omaha, Toronto and Houston, and opened its first European office in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The new facility in Houston, Texas is headed by recently hired Mike Wilson, a 25-year transportation industry veteran with a considerable experience of Mexican and Central American supply chains.

AIT-Houston is a two-storey, 18,500 sq ft office located across the street from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, which is also a short drive from the terminals at the port of Houston.

Across the ocean, the establishment of the company's European flagship office in Amsterdam brings the total number of AIT locations up to 43.

The Amsterdam office is headed by Ria de Bok, who joins AIT with more than 20 years of customer service, operations and sales experience in the global logistics industry.

AIT's new European flagship facility is within a six hour drive of most of western Europe and located minutes away from one of the world's busiest airports for cargo, Amsterdam Schiphol. The office is also less than an hour from Rotterdam, home to Europe's largest seaport.
