ALE inks Santos contract

October 22 - ALE has been awarded a heavy haulage contract by Santos Queensland Upstream Developments for the Santos GLNG project in Australia.

The scope of ALE's work involves the provision of heavy haulage and transport services for the Santos GLNG project, which includes ongoing gas field development in the Surat and Bowen Basins, as well as a 420 km gas transmission pipeline and the construction of an LNG plant on Curtis Island, near Gladstone.

Earlier in October, ALE formed a dedicated unit to serve the onshore oil and gas sector in Australia, by recruiting specialist personnel and investing in bespoke equipment.
