August 9 - BNSF Logistics' global project team in Houston has coordinated the shipment of a 220,000 lb (99.7-tonne) press bolster from Ontario, Canada to Texas, USA.

The unit, which measured 27 ft x 13.2 ft x 5.4 ft (8.2 m x 4 m x 1.6 m), was transported from its factory in Windsor, Ontario to a nearby rail siding using a 12-axle platform trailer.

The press bolster was then loaded onto a railcar and delivered via the CN and BNSF railways to the Texas Terminal in Houston, where it was transhipped onto a Goldhofer trailer and trucked 100 miles (160 km) to the final jobsite.

BNSF Logistics represents the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in the USA.
