Carpenters joins Jakarta

April 20 - Malaysian shipping group, Carpenters Shipping, has started directs calls at the Port of Jakarta on its New Guinea Shuttle Service (NSS).

Carpenters Shipping, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur-based MBf Holdings, says the container service can also handle breakbulk and project cargoes.

The service calls at Singapore, Port Klang, Jakarta, Port Moresby, Lae, Rabaul, Madang, before returning to Singapore.
