Cathay Pacific restructures

May 23 - Cathay Pacific plans to restructure its cargo department, including streamlining the structure by removing the role of cargo director, in order to align with its head office reorganisation.

The commercial and planning functions of the cargo division will report into the director commercial and cargo, and will be overseen by the chief customer and commercial officer.

Part of the transformation programme to make Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon more effective, the company will be making around 600 people redundant at its head office.
