September 23 - Effective October 1, CMA CGM will add a call at Miami to its Amerigo Service in order to develop market opportunities with Florida and Mexico and says that it will provide more opportunities for OOG and breakbulk cargoes on this service.

The service will be operated by a fleet of six  vessels covering the following ports: Malta, Livorno, Genoa, Fos-sur-mer, Barcelona, Valencia (westbound), New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Miami, Tangiers, Valencia (eastbound), and Malta in a 42-day round voyage.

The service will also be able to cover Mexico, as a result of a weekly connection with Victory Bridge, in Miami, allowing the development of the West Mediterranean / Mexico trade.

The line says that 'optimised vessel planning' will 'allow more opportunities in terms of OOG, breakbulk, IMO and reefer commodities'.
