Cotton picking cargoes for PCN duo

January 23 - Project Cargo Network (PCN) members Allison Shipping International and Global Cargo Line have worked together to transport cotton picking machinery from the USA to the Mersin, Turkey.

Global Cargo Line - PCN member representing Lebanon - approached US network member Allison Shipping urgently needing a vessel that could transport three 275 cu m, 34 tonne cotton pickers at short notice, during the hectic Christmas period.

Allison Shipping was able to arrange all the freight logistics on the US side of the project, while Global Cargo Line took care of the delivery of the machinery to the end user. The equipment was delivered to the client within schedule.
