Dredge hose shipment for Tuscor Lloyds

November 1 - Tuscor Lloyds was contracted by a client in the oil and gas industry to transport dredge hoses and sleeves from Felixstowe, UK to Busan in South Korea.

The cargo was supplied to Tuscor Lloyds on steel frame pallets, which are fitted with adjustable steel chocks and retractable strapping eyes to secure the cargo for transportation, as well as a four point lift system to ensure that the cargo is balanced.

Tuscor Lloyds received the pallets, which had the dimensions 12.4 m x 2.7 m x 1.4 m, and organised for them to be lifted onto 40 ft flat rack containers for road transportation to Felixstowe, where they were on a container ship and shipped to South Korea.

34 days after the cargo was picked up from the warehouse in Felixstowe, the shipment arrived at the port of Busan, where it was unloaded ready for inland transportation to the client.
