Drum duo for Nurminen

November 11 - Nurminen Logistics has transported two large drums from Ii, Finland to Gavle, Sweden.

One of the drums weighed 81 tonnes and had the dimensions 9 m x 6.7 m x 6.9 m; the other weighed 127 tonnes and had the dimensions 11.5 m x 6.7 m x 6.9 m.

The cargo was transported by road from the factory to the closest port in northern Finland, where it was loaded on to a chartered ro-ro barge and shipped directly to the factory port in Sweden.

In Sweden, Nurminen also handled the unloading of the drums and transportation to their installation place inside the factory.

Nurminen Logistics is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Finland.
