Ekin in Turkish transformation

November 24 - Ekin Heavy & Project Transportation has moved a transformer through Turkey by road to a power station in Hakkari.

The transformer, which weighed 86 tonnes and had the dimensions 6.6 m x 2.45 m x 4 m, was transported on a heavy-duty trailer to the site, where it was discharged by Ekin using a jack and slide system.

Ekin said that this was a particularly challenging move since Hakkari is one of the regions in Turkey most susceptible to terror attacks.

Ekin is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Turkey.
