Lorenzini adds Terex model

November 9 - Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has delivered a Terex Gottwald Model 7 mobile harbour crane to Italian terminal operator Lorenzini & C.

The new crane - a G HMK 7608 model - will begin operations in mid November. Although the crane will mainly be used to handle containers, it is also capable of lifting heavy and oversize cargoes, with a maximum lifting capacity of 150 tonnes.

"Beyond containers, we have regular demand for the handling of general cargo, and with the mobile harbour crane we will be able to quickly respond to respective requests from our international customers," said Lorenzini's managing director Francesco Lorenzini.

The delivery of its new Terex crane brings Lorenzini's fleet of Model 7 machines to three, and its entire collection of Terex cranes to five.
