November 26 - Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has advised that Qingdao Port in China is now operating normally following a pipeline explosion in the city's Huangdao district last week.

The explosion occurred near the southern gate of the Lidong Chemical Plant following a leak in a pipeline operated by Chinese oil refinery, Sinopec.

Following the explosion, most vessels changed their destination port so no backlog has occurred, but marine pollution is still being treated in the bay and is expected to take some time to clear, says ISS.
