ABC appoints Biwer

July 21 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has named Georges Biwer as vice president, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

In his new role Biwer will focus on growing ABC's scheduled cargo operations inside and beyond Europe, with the airline going online in the Middle East and the African continent to provide a broader variety of export destinations for its customers.

"EMEA is one of the key markets for our scheduled business operations," said ABC executive president Denis Ilin, adding that Biwer's appointment is in line with the company's further expansion plans.
