ABS promotes Riva

October 24 - ABS has appointed Joseph Riva to the position of vice president and chief surveyor, effective November 1, 2013.

In this role, Riva will be responsible for guiding and overseeing all ABS survey activities, succeeding Linwood Pendexter who has held the position for ten years.

Riva has worked for ABS for 32 years, previously serving as assistant chief surveyor for the ABS Americas and ABS Europe divisions, and brings with him strong technical and leadership expertise.

Pendexter will assist Riva with the chief surveyor transition until his retirement in early 2014.
