June 10 - BDP International is opening a new office in Casablanca, Morocco.

The new office will be overseen by country manager, Abderrahim Msaidi, who reports to BDP's head of North Africa and Turkey, Fikret Ersoy.

The Casablanca office will offer a wide array of logistics and transport services, including project logistics, to customers spanning the chemical, petrochemical, energy, oil and gas, automotive, healthcare and retail industries.

"Our customers based in Europe and the USA see Morocco as a safe harbour in North Africa with huge potential for additional business growth, and we recognise that opportunity for expansion," said Ersoy.

Yves Letange, BDP's managing director of Europe, North Africa and Turkey, added: "North Africa is quickly becoming one of the most vital regions for growth in the supply chain world, with a great deal of investment in the expanding infrastructure."

BDP plans to open another Moroccan office in Tangiers later this year.
