Biesterfeld up at C.H. Robinson

Third-party logistics (3PL) provider C.H. Robinson has appointed Robert Biesterfeld's as its chief operating officer.

Effective March 1, Biesterfeld will be responsible for C.H. Robinson's five business divisions, in addition to the company's commercial operations and information technology.

Having held various positions at C.H. Robinson over the past 19 years, he will continue to serve as president of the company's North American Surface Transportation (NAST) division.
