As of February 1, 2026, the Netherlands-headquartered BigLift Shipping has made changes to its leadership team, with Johan Boer promoted to managing director and Paul van Lith appointed as director of operations.
Boer has been commercial director of BigLift since 1995, bringing continuity and stability to the company during that time.
Van Lith’s background has been as a captain in the BigLift heavy lift fleet.
HLPFI reported in September that CY Shipping and BigLift expanding their joint fleet of heavy transport vessels (HTV), with BigLift also transporting seven historic German Navy missile speedboats from Germany to Türkiye.
